The Office of Social & Emotional Learning Behavioral Health Supports Team supports schools in addressing their clinical MTSS Tier II and Tier III needs. We offer training in select, evidence-based small group interventions and provide direct clinical, mentoring, and substance use services through the support of our community-based partners. We manage the training and support of Behavior Health Teams that coordinate the care of students at the school level. This team also provides professional development and supports the use of toolkits, screening and progress management tools, and planning processes that can be used to drive continuous improvement.

The Behavioral Health Supports Associate (approximately 25 hours per week) will report to the Manager of Behavioral Health Supports. This position will be virtual until Chicago Public Schools Central Office staff returns to in-person work.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the administration of the Behavioral Health Supports Team initiatives, which includes:Tracking submission of and reviewing the completion of intervention and implementation support applicationsCommunicating with school contacts regarding deadlines, requirements, and the results of their applications;Facilitating trauma, intervention data entry, and other foundational mental health support training;Create and update resources and marketing materials for the Behavioral Health Supports Team initiatives;Develop and maintaining internal tracking and reporting systems for Behavioral Health Supports Team initiatives, in coordination with the Manager of Behavioral Health Supports and OSEL Data Analyst;Support the management of community partner and intervention developer relationships;Coordinate intervention implementation support efforts;Coordinate the development of and sharing of departmental reports;Coordinate efforts for OSEL events;Creating reportsOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred;2+ years of related work experience;Strong oral and written communication skills;Excellent presentation and customer service skills;Proficiency with a range of technology and tools, including but not limited to:Google applications (e.g., Gmail, Calendar, Forms, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Presentations)Filters, pivot tables, and formulas (e.g., vlookup) in Excel or Google SheetsMail merge functions;

Ability to work independently as well as to function effectively and collaboratively in a team environment;Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task;Experience developing written materials for publication;Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation to access schools and training locations throughout Chicago.
