We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer with a strong inclination and interest in transitioning into a people management role. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will spearhead our DevOps initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations teams, while also actively participating in the mentorship and development of team members. This Lead DevOps Engineer role requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

By leveraging your experiences and development skills you will work hand in hand with DevOps Engineers to provide quality solutions that improve delivery of value to customers, reduce costs, and eliminate toil.

Responsibilities of the Lead DevOps Engineer:

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.Design, build, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.Build, manage and optimize solutions on Google Cloud.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and efficient workflows.Stay up to date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies, including Kubernetes best practices.Qualifications of the Lead DevOps Engineer:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.2+ years' experience leading a team of DevOps engineers.Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Kubernetes Engine (GKE).Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and methodologies.Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Experience of the Lead DevOps Engineer:

Experience with monitoring and logging solutions built on the Grafana Stack.Certifications in GCP or Kubernetes.Experience with Gitlab CI/CD.
