Job Description:

ECS is seeking a TS-cleared Senior DevOps Engineer to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice. We offer the chance to support the world's finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support agents, analysts, and professionals and the technology they use to fight terrorism, espionage, cyber-attacks, and major criminal threats.

We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide innovative solutions. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their application related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain a DevOps environment to support the automation and deployment of mission-critical applications and systemsImplement and automate infrastructure, application development, and deployment proceduresImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated delivery of applicationsAutomate and enhance workflows around the build, test, and deployment of applicationsEvaluate current systems for effectivenessMake value-add recommendations for systems scalabilityManage and maintain an efficient, secure, and reliable infrastructure environmentPerform other DevOps tasks as needed in support of mission needsSalary Range: $160,000 - $200,000

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical fieldActive Top Secret with SCI eligibility10 years of application development, cloud solutioning, or IT experience6 years hands-on DevOps experienceDemonstrated experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, TerraformSignificant knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)Demonstrated experience with CI/CD environments and toolsets (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)Knowledge and experience with Containerization (Docker) and Containerization Orchestration (Kubernetes)Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps environment issuesStrong hands-on experience with LinuxApplication development experience using Java or PythonStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex Cloud infrastructure issuesMust be able to demonstrate working knowledge of full lifecycle engineering projectsDesired Skills:

AWS CertificationAbility to communicate with customers to refine requirementsAbility to deconstruct customer requirements into delineated tasks
