Our team builds and optimizes core AI models, SDKs, and cloud services to accelerate computer vision applications from mapping to video understanding to content creation.Interested to bring groundbreaking research to market? We are now looking for a senior engineer to help build our computer vision model services. The right candidate will combine insight into the latest computer vision and multi-modal AI techniques with exceptional pragmatism and technical breadth to address challenges ranging from data curation and rights management to efficient operation at scale.What you'll be doing:

Partner with our researchers to develop and evaluate prototypes of our latest models for segmentation, video understanding, tracking, 3d reconstruction, and more.Create principled evaluation criteria and experimental plans to drive model productization.Build services and SDKs to enable customers to easily enjoy our computer vision models.Resolve production barriers including data licensing, GPDR restrictions, corner case behaviors, and performance bottlenecks.Contribute to large and sophisticated code bases combining custom C++ and Python with platforms like Kubernetes and Triton to deliver computer vision at scale.What we need to see:

Master's of Science in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, or Physics or equivalent experience.5+ years practical experience.Current with the latest research such as SAM, CLIP, and LLAMA.Proficiency with Python and one or more common deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, OnnxRT, or JAX.Experience building microservices and broad exposure to distributed technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Milvus.Fundamentals in linear algebra, numerical methods, statistics, and exploratory data analysis.Strong collaboration skills to partner with algorithm designers, application developers, and infrastructure and MLOps teams.Proven record of taking AI models to production, familiar with the challenges between exciting research result and shipping code, and insight and determination to resolve these in the pursuit of an outstanding product.Ability and desire to learn new technologies.Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

Innovative results including patents, publications, or exciting product features.System software experience including multi-threaded and CUDA development.The base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
