This is a hybrid role with project-based work in the office and some potential community work.Job Summary

The Marketing Content Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive content plans aligned with marketing goals. This position oversees the creation of diverse content types, ensures brand consistency, and utilizes data-driven insights to optimize content performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role involves staying informed about industry trends, managing content calendars, and strategically distributing content across various channels to drive engagement and meet business objectives.Essential Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive content plans based on marketing objectives, target audience, and industry trends.Conduct audience research to understand the preferences, needs, and behaviors of the target audience.Ensure that all content aligns with the brand voice, message, and overall marketing strategy.Oversee the creation of various content types, including blog posts, social media content, videos, and more, ensuring consistency and quality.Implement SEO strategies to enhance content visibility and improve search engine rankings.Determine the appropriate channels for content distribution, considering platforms like websites, social media, email marketing, and more.Develop and manage content calendars to ensure a consistent and timely publishing schedule.Utilize analytics tools to measure content performance, analyze user engagement, and make data-driven adjustments to strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, and marketers, to execute content initiatives effectively.Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing innovations, and emerging platforms to keep strategies current and effective.Continuously optimize content based on performance data, user feedback, and evolving marketing goals.Help develop and execute plans for content distribution, considering paid, earned, and owned media channels.Organizational Responsibilities

RequiredMinimum 3 years’ experience developing marketing and/or communications content.PreferredExperience developing health care or insurance content.Agency experience.Marketing experience in the health care industry.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

KnowledgeKnowledge of current copywriting and content production best practices, including print, digital and social media.Knowledge of multimedia content development workflows, including video production.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent written, spoken, and presentation communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to give and receive constructive editing feedback.Strong attention to detail and organization skills.Ability to understand the content that constituents need.Ability to strategize and conceptualize content across multiple channels and uses.Ability to conduct informal research and analysis to understand the content needs of various audiences.Ability to think creatively and employ ingenuity in developing marketing concepts that also meet objectives.Ability to collaborate and cooperate with teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changes, and stay motivated.Ability to effectively plan and take the initiative.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups.Strong ability to take initiative and work independently.Ability to learn, focus, understand, and evaluate information and determine appropriate actions.Ability to accept direction and feedback, as well as tolerate and manage stress.Ability to see, read, and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 6 hours/day.Ability to hear and speak clearly for at least 3-6 hours/day.Working Condition
