Compliance Business Systems Analyst

Summary of Position: The Privacy & Business Analyst role reports to the Lennar Technology Group, Privacy IT Manager on the Controls & Compliance Team. The role is responsible for managing and processing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) to ensure compliance with California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and other privacy regulations. This role involves using SQL queries to locate data and verifying that data deletions have been accurately executed. Analyzing data sets and the ability to interpret privacy regulations to our data protection processes will be essential in fulfilling the organizational compliance goals.
Responsibilities: •Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
o Process Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) from beginning to end, and meeting deadline(s) as required by law. o Prepare monthly and year over year DSAR reports. o Analyze monthly communication preferences' updates and trends for compliance. o Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) on existing and new applications. o Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedures, and records of compliance activities, to demonstrate our commitment to privacy compliance.
•System Analysis
o Proficient in SQL programming or comparable to query databases, conducting statistical analysis, and creating insightful reports. o Ability to present findings in a clear and measurable way. o Ability to create process flow documentation. o Experience with project management tools including Microsoft project, Jira, Smartsheet, or other equivalent. o Above average skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visual Basic.
•Business Analysis
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand data structure across multiple applications. o Ability to understand IT system configurations and data structures and play key role in analyzing data to identify data ready for destruction. o Leverage advanced analytics and assist with data cleansing, migration, and integration activities. o Ability to prepare business requirements documents and work as part of a team to build out new processes and test outcomes to ensure it meets requirements. o Ability to create reports using standard reporting tools for key applications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as privacy, information management, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in data protection and privacy are a plus. Strong knowledge of global privacy regulations, such as CCPA, and other relevant laws, guidelines, and frameworks. Understanding of encryption mechanisms (data at rest and transit) Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to practical scenarios. Detail-oriented and proactive approach to identify risks, gaps, and areas for improvement in privacy compliance. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate privacy-related concepts to diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. Familiarity with data protection impact assessments, data mapping, and other compliance-related tools and methodologies.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Compliance Business Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
