RATES:
$60.00 per hourSUMMARY:
The Mobile Therapist / MT is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team:
MT needs throughout Chester County, PA!MT will work after-school or evening hoursFlexible scheduling for work/life balance!RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual and family psychotherapy in the home environmentProvide insight into family dynamics and provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the familyProvide clinical progress notes & development of psychotherapy planWork after-school/early evening hours, usually with 1 - 2 hours per week for each client's family, and ability to build a caseload of multiple clientsRequirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
(Requires one of the following)
Graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college/university AND a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adultsGraduate degree from an accredited university with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in clinical psychology, social work, education, counseling, or related field AND completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicumExperience working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and PA License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferredCREDENTIALS:
(Clearances current within 12 months)
PA Child Abuse (Act 151) ClearancePA Criminal (Act 34) ClearanceFBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738TB screening (current within 3 months)Official transcripts from graduate programProfessional liability insuranceValid PA licensure (if applicable)
