IT Technician #998083Job Description:Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT technician to join our growing team.In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for all areas of IT.You will update systems, troubleshoot problems, and provide hands-on support for IT issues within our organization.IT Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep systems up-to-date through operating systems upgradesMonitor networking equipment and serversAssist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and featuresMonitor web performance, network availability, and securityOversee troubleshooting for system errorsProvide support for network issuesProvide technical support either by phone, remote access or hands on with user as neededRespond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and softwareModify configurations, utilities, software, etc.Set up equipment for new usersInstall, test, and monitor servers, firewalls, and new softwarePerform data backups for users and plant floor application systemsInstall and update network system improvements as neededAssist with Servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and moreIT Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferredCompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification or other related IT professional certification; meet all state-required licensure/certification preferredPrevious experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support in a manufacturing Preferred.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issuesAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable in a diverse and fast-paced environmentGoal-oriented, organized team playerExperience working with network and server management supportUp-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgradesAbility to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipmentAdditional Info:
