Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Linux System Administrator to support CECOM Software Engineering Center (SEC).

This position requires 2 days onsite .The CECOM Technical Services Unified contract is intended to provide support for the software development, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services provided by the Software Engineering Center (SEC) Technical Services Directorate. The objectives of this contract are (1) Organizational wide understanding and adoption of the values and principles described in the Agile Manifesto. (2) A DevSecOps culture and practice that demands cross-functional, cross-team collaboration to implement automated pipelines for rapid software changes and deployment throughout the Army. (3) Cybersecurity is treated as a continuous effort throughout the software development life cycle from design through implementation and maintenance. Cybersecurity will be addressed earlier and throughout the process by the collective team.DSA's Linux System Administrator requires a Secret Clearance and• A Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline + 5 years of relevant experience all within the last 5 years.• Five (5) additional years of applicable experience with appropriate certifications/relevant experience may be substituted for the degree. (Total 10 yrs experience)• IAT Level II certified (ex: Security+) AND Computing environment certification (Linux/RedHat)• Linux System Administrator experienced with installation, configuring, monitoring, patching and system maintenance.

Desired qualifications include:• Experience supporting the United States Army• Experience using project planning software (such as Jira, Jira Service Desk and Confluence for planning and task tracking).• Experience developing and configuring pipeline automations (such as Azure DevOps Server, GitLab, or Jenkins).• Experience in automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes (Configuration as Code) using tools like Ansible, Terraform or similar (Desired State Configuration (DSD)).• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash and PowerShell to automate routine tasks and processes within a pipeline.• Expertise in Azure Infrastructure Management to include virtual machines, networks, storage, and security solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.• Expertise in hybrid cloud integrations to include creating strategies and implementing solutions that include integration on-premises infrastructure with both Azure cloud services and AWS cloud services (where applicable) to maintain seamless connectivity and data flow between environments.• Proficiency in container orchestration which involves managing and automating the deployment, scaling, and operations of application containers across clusters of hosts (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).• Experience in data backup, replication, deduplication, and snapshot management using NetApp, knowledge of NetApp's storage virtualization solutions, and a proven ability to diagnose and resolve NetApp storage-related issues.• Azure DevOps Server Implementations to include build agent configurations.• Proven integration of identity management and directory services, specifically ADFS integration (Active Directory Federated Services) and LDAP Integration (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)• Single Sign-on Integration (such as SAML, OpenID).• Understanding cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and implementing appropriate security measures to protect data and applications in the cloud.• Execution with a developer mindset with having all in configuration as code but also use engineering v model for quality of work to be transition to sustainment.• RedHat/Ubuntu experience.• Understanding of DevSecOps and best practices.• Experience with the SDLC, to include use of software source code control systems, artifact repositories and code assessment tools.• Continuously seek opportunities to improve team productivity and collaboration through Agile frameworks.Experience with :VMWare Management,Nimble, 3PAR(SAN Storage), Trellix,Graylog,Zabbix,ACAS including management, IAVM/CVE, Docker, Docker Compose, Citrix/Netscaler, MECM including management/deploymentWSUS, IIS, Tomcat

Key Responsibilities include:• Performs Linux administration, maintenance and support tasks necessary to ensure effective and efficient information technology (IT) system performance and security• Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server and systems configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability• Administers server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and performs systems monitoring• Consults on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems' security and sustainability• Maintains a systems cyber security posture to include scanning and remediation of cyber vulnerabilities• Performs risk analysis to identify threats, vulnerabilities and likelihood and impact of exploitation• Performs user support and problem resolution.• Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto• Understands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management
