Overview
International Architecture + Interiors studio is actively seeking a Project Architect to join their San Francisco office. Winner of Design Awards from AIA, Architizer, and Architectural Record, this studio has been recognized for its contemporary and innovative take on urban modern design. Projects include Shangri-La hotels, Four Seasons, and cutting-edge multi-family residences with amenities such as clubs, rooftops & bars, in NYC and San Francisco. The team also works with tech companies such as Google, mixed-use urban developments, and adaptive reuse projects in metropolitan areas! To continue their growth, their San Francisco studio is seeking a Project Architect with 6 years of experience to provide leadership, technical, and design support for the firm’s projects around the world, mainly focused in the hospitality & housing sector.
In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s Project Managers on one or more projects, leading design teams from feasibility and concept design through documentation and construction administration. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients throughout all phases of design and participate in the project’s entitlement phase.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:
6+ years of experience with all phases of interiors and architectural projects; medium to large scale multi-family experience a plus
Professional degree in architecture
CA license highly preferred
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
LEED and GPR rating system experience
Lead and coordinate consultant teams
Direct and mentor junior staff
Management of a document set
Strong organizational and technical capability
Revit proficiency; AutoCAD proficiency a plus
Graphic layout experience preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
3-D modeling and rendering experience preferred (Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, VRay)
