Voice Engineer Lead / ArchitectGES is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to identify and resolve performance issues and be responsible for all troubleshooting, repairing/replacing, configuring, monitoring and upgrading the unclassified voice architecture. This position is on-site and mission essential.

5+ years as a Cisco Voice EngineerSME on Cisco UCM, SBCs, Call Manager Express, voice gatewaysExpertise in modern and legacy voice protocolsManage multi-site dial plans and call routingAbility to understand network traffic flow in complex networksNetwork diagraming and documentation (Visio)Writes well formatted technical instructionsVMWare Network VirtualizationRouting/SwitchingGreat interpersonal skillsAbility to teach others on complex topicsResponsibilities
Responsible for implementation and technical support of Cisco Unified Communications related technologiesAssist Tier-II and Tier-III engineers with ticket escalation, acting as program voice subject matter expert (SME)Conducts technical assessments and develops solutions to complex problemsTests emerging technologies within the system's integration lab (SIL) environmentUses vendor tooling to diagnose root causes of voice related issuesWrite technical documentation on voice systems and projectsActs autonomously by improving responsible systems and making progress toward program initiatives.Coordinates with external voice SMEs, provides guidance on network configuration and design constraintsUpgrades to all supported VoIP / UC systems to meet cybersecurity requirementsReview work/installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance to telecommunications standardsPerform other Voice technology-related duties as assigned
