Triage and resolve internal, and customer-found issuesWrite Feature Spec covering the requirements and detailed designImplement improvements and features individually or as part of a teamEvaluate, Integrate third-party librariesPeer review of Feature Spec, Code, Test Plan, and other engineering documentsImprove performance/scale of existing features/solutionsHelp with interviews, onboarding, and mentoring of new hiresWork with customer and product teams to understand new requirementsPlan, scheduled, tracked, and periodically reported the project status to customer deliveryDrive engineering-wide initiatives for quality/scaling of shipping products and technologiesParticipate in the Architecture and Design of new engineering initiativesIntellectual Property (IP) Protection - consider filing patents for Innovations involved in our productsIndustry engagements on a technical level - papers, blogs, talks, standardsEducation/Qualifications

BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degreeAbility to write high-quality C/C++/Go/Python code16+ years of hands-on development experience in some of the following areas:Experience with design and development of large-scale control plane protocols - BGP, OSPF, ISIS, LDP MPLSExperience with design and development of

L2 technologies - STP, PVST, MSTPExperience with design and development of Control Plane Infra - TCP/IP, RIB, FIB, BFD, IPC, Interfaces, EventsExperience with design and development of Overlay Technologies -
