Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a

Sr. PC Technician

to work in Coronado, CA. A United States Citizenship and an active

Top Secret DoD Security Clearance

is required to be considered for this position.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

The Senior PC Technician is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing personal computer systems, hardware, software, computer peripherals, and AV equipment. The Technician will assist employees via remote access, phone, or in person. The Sr. Technician may also mentor or train other Desktop Support. The Sr. PC Technicians must have excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity. This position is customer service oriented, and the Sr. Technician must be proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources. The Sr PC Technician may be required to provision and maintain mobile devices including NIPR, SIPR and Gray. This position may supervise PC Technician support teams.

Duties include but are not limited to:Oversee Jr technicians who maintain location of technical and project managementOversees troubleshooting and proactively resolving technical issues.Work with Jr technicians to provide technically sound resolutions to the Government and subordinates.Leading Jr. Technicians with developing and designing technicalOverseeing technical problem solving for customer support of databaseOverseeing staff who maintain and administer hardware, software, firmware, and OS for designatedMonitoring server applications and services using authorized monitoring software to facilitate proactive response to hardware failureOversee staff who maintain hardware and software systems and tools used to monitor, maintain, tune, and report on storage environment health and status.Responsible for staff operating, maintaining, integrating, and administering database hardware andConducting application and data migration necessary as a result of a hardware or software IMAC or re-installation.Planning and performing the release of approved software, hardware, policy, and proceduralPerforming Risk Management RM activities related to preparing new or reconfigured software and hardware for release.Ensures staff adheres to RM policies, procedures, processes, and regulations for implementing approved changes to the enterprise, including software and hardware.Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

3+ years of previous experience working as a PC Tech or Help DeskCertification:

DoDD 01-M IAT IIEducation:

High School level plus some advanced training; Minimum of 3 yearsClearance:

Active Top Secret clearance is required.Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
