Job Description:
Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.Assist in the configuration and deployment of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Collaborate with senior engineers and IT teams to develop and implement network solutions.Provide technical support to end-users and assist with resolving network-related issues.Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in networking.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.2-5 years of network and network security experienceSolid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, etc.).Hands-on experience with networking equipment and tools, such as: Cisco routers and switches, Palo-Alto firewalls, and network monitoring systems and Cisco WIFIStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Prior experience in a networking role is a must.A strong passion for networking technologies, a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environmentPrefer Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese)Desire to learnCatalyst 9600, 9120 APs, and NexusHours: 8:00 CST - 5:00 CST

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
