Job Description:
Client's Enterprise Systems Engineering team is looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to help us develop and maintain websites and experiences that support Client's marketing and event initiatives with a focus on the ClientCon website.You should also have a solid technical foundation in modern web development technologies such as JavaScript (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Vue, etc.), HTML, and CSS.You will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Systems Engineering to work with our partners in building experiences based on their designs.You Will:
Develop web applications using our Content Management SystemBuild the ClientCon website and applications integrated into the siteWork with teams (Localization, Creative, Developer Relations, Legal, Product Marketing, Trust & Safety, Product) to build web experiences and applicationsWork in an agile / scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedulesIntegrate with 1st and 3rd party APIsImplement new tools into the technology stack to increase performance efficienciesEnable Marketing team's use of the technology stack through training, documentation, and feature enhancementsSkills:
3+ years of web application development experience2+ years of experience working with Static Site Generators (Jekyll, Gatsby, Hugo and others)2+ years of experience working with JavaScript in at least one framework (AlpineJS, Svelte, EmberJS or others) and vanilla JavaScriptExperience with web accessibility standards and principles (WCAG 2.1 AA)Experience implementing accessible featuresKnowledge of translation, localization and geotargetingKnowledge of region specific regulatory requirementsBackend experience with Node.js or GoExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, Cloudfront, S3, CDKExperience with figma and component based design.Candidate Requirements:
