Paralegal

GoHealth is looking for a Paralegal to support our internal Legal Department. This is a brand new role that will report into our General Counsel. In this role you will need to be organized, self-sufficient, collaborative and have good communications skills. Responsibilities:

Organize and manage electronic and paper files

Coordinate with internal team and internal business partners

Handle basic legal functions and projects

Handle administrative tasks, as assigned

Must understand and abide by the rules of confidentiality

Perform other related duties, as assigned

Skills and Experience:

BS or BA degree preferred along with 1 – 2 years of experience;

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Must be a team player as well as self-motivated

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in person, by phone and by email

Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word and Excel)
