The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. We are looking for an Principal iOS Engineer to work on a brand-new banking application using Swift and Swift UI. You will be working in a collaborative small team environment with the stability of a global parent company. Your primary responsibility will be leading the development of iOS, working with product owners, QA engineers, and designers to develop a cutting edge and stable mobile application.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the design, architecture, development, and best practices of our mobile applicationCreate highly reusable and maintainable components and libraries to use across mobile applicationsPartner with development team and product team to create a highly performant application with user satisfactionCollaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure proper testing and maintenanceHighly motivated and able to work in a fast pasted environmentActively monitor iOS mobile application updates and apply best practicesIdentify exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challengesResearch and development of latest trendsQuickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedbackSubmit applications to App StoreManage your own time: Solution, problem solve, and work both independently and as part of a team in a greenfield environmentPOSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7 years of iOS Development experience, preferably within Enterprise environments.Expertise with iOS 13.0 and above up to the latestExperience with UIKit, Swift UI:Foundation, Core Location, Combine, and other iOS related core librariesExperience in Objective-C, Swift and XCodeExperience in Design using Storyboards, Xib and Swift UIExperience with Auto Layout and Constraints to build adaptive design for all iOS devicesExperience with UI and Unit testing, preferably XCTestKnowledge of Apple's Human Interface Design guidelinesExperience in mobile application persistence such as SQL, Core DataUnderstanding of Clean architecture design philosophy and techniquesGood understanding of software design concepts and patternGood understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and how to connect iOS applications to those services using AFNetworking, AlamoFire libraries.Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testingGood knowledge in App Profiling to finetune mobile applications using InstrumentsStrong knowledge in Memory management using ARCGood understanding in debugging strategies and tools: UI Debugger, Memory leaks etc.Experience with Accessibility InspectorExperience in preparing and submitting iOS applications to TestFlight and App storeEOE STATEMENTWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
