Sr Tools Software Engineer - Cleared

Must possess a solid understanding of event management, system/application health server operating system, agent and agentless monitoring, network, application and end-point performance, tuning and measurements.The candidate will ensure the COTS products function properly with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communicationsSupport extending/scaling services to the client’s private cloud to include infrastructure automations and pushing metrics into/retrieving metrics from the cloud for manipulation, reporting and visualization.Must have strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills and be customer-focused and results oriented. Must be able to work in collaborative environment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be customer focused.Assist with testing and deploying hotfixes/patches/new releases of the Tools suite, including testing of custom applications following patches/upgrades.Assist with development of knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions used by the Tools Team and tools users.*Requires after hours on-callRequirementsTS/SCI with poly required

High School/GED and 25 years of related experienceA Bachelor of Science may be substituted for 5 years of experienceExperience in Python, R, JavaScript, or Perl programming; or UNIX scriptingExperience integrating with the OpenText Enterprise Management tools suiteMust be a self-starter with strong attention to detailProficient in Linux/UNIX commandsProficient in Windows Server OSOne of the Following Certifications Required:
