JOB SUMMARY:Senior IT Developers are responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management proceduresProficiency using versioning tools: GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone, etcDemonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsFlexible team playerAbility to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesAbility to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performanceMust demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skillsAbility to communicate technical information clearly and articulatelyAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing environmentIn-depth understanding of the systems development life cycleProficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; JAVA, Python, Ruby, C++, .Net, Objective-C, React.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, etc
May include languages such as; Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NFI, Scoop, etcMay include database knowledge in; SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, dBase, MS Access, etc
Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as VisioProficiency using debugging tools; Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime,, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etcHigh critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
5-8 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience in an Agile environmentBachelor's Degree in IT related field or relevant work experienceHands-on configuration experience using Callidus as well as knowledge of enterprise commission systems (Callidus experience required)Strong Technical Skills (intermediate or higher SQL skills and advanced programming, knowledge in Callidus APIs is a plus)Ability to take initiative and is highly motivated to quickly learn the system and businessAbility to communicate and work with internal/ external and technical/ non- technical team membersAbility to analyze problems and datasets to quickly identify and implement comprehensive solutions to complex problems
