Project Scope:
Developing and testing a new tool/app for CEDT project. This tool will be used for Engineering team to onboard Managed Network Edge (MNE) customers.Team Culture/Size/Soft Skills needed:
Corporate construction with responsibility for compliance, process, policy, and project management.Size: 4 Devs for each QA on the team (trying to get exact number, some devs are nearshore/offshore)Culture: Very collaborative, easy group to work and get along with.Must have skills/certs/technologies:
Functional automation resource: WebDriverIO is preferred, they are potentially open to Cypress or other Node frameworksFramework is in placeShould have BDD with CucumberTypeScript or JavaScript- their front-end application is using React or JavaScript- huge plusSome API with Postman, SOAP, Rest or something similarCable or telecom experience is a big plusManual vs. automation: About 60% automation and about 40% manual to start, will move to 80% automation/20% manual down the line
Job Description/Desired Technical Experience:
We have an immediate QA needs, can we have a Front Automation test resource who is having minimum 5 years of experience in1. WebDriverIO framework preferred (may be open to Cypress or other Node frameworks)2. Cucumber - BDD3. API testing using Pytest or SOAPUI (fine with Postman, SOAP, Rest or something similar)4. Functional testing5. TypeScript or JavaScript6. Python or Java7. Cable and Telecom industry knowledge plus8. GraphQL experience plus
