Delivery Driver

**Delivery Driver****Department:** Transportation **Location:** Detroit, MI**Preferred Produce** is a family owned produce distributor delivering fresh produce to our customers daily. We are seeking a full-time customer focused and dynamic delivery driver to add to our ever-growing team! Our delivery drivers play a critical role by promptly and professionally delivering pre-loaded pallets of produce to customers while providing excellent customer service.**WHAT WE OFFER:*** Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance* 401K with Company match* Starting wage of $15/hr-$18/hr**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Perform DOT daily pre and post trip inspection of equipment to ensure safe delivery, driving a straight truck, 24-26 foot.* Use good judgment in evaluating produce quality* Demonstrate attention to detail for accuracy in every delivery* Use hand cart to unload products off truck and into customer specified areas* Collaborate with the team to solve any problems that arise* Perform other warehouse duties as needed**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Ability to communicate clearly and effectively* Customer service experience* Valid chauffers license* Delivery experience is a plus* *Repetitive bending and lifting from 40 to 70 pounds is required** The ability to repetitively move on and off equipment is necessary
