Building Futures.JOB SUMMARY: The Driver (CDL) is the lead driver for product deliveries and donation pickups. The position is responsible for truck upkeep, updating of truck maintenance log, inventory, and a clean work environment. The position assists the program manager with creating and maintaining good community relations with vendors and donors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:* Oversee product deliveries and pick up of donations.* Load and unload truck deliveries and donations, and properly secure all loads.* Ensure routine fueling, lubricating, and servicing of assigned vehicle.* Update truck maintenance log.* Assist manager in creating and maintaining good community relations with vendors and donors.* Ensure a clean work environment.* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:* High School diploma or GED.* 2-years experience driving a truck.* Trained in operating equipment such as truck lift and pallet jack.* Commercial Drivers License .SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:* Knowledge of commercial truck maintenance.* Knowledge of refrigerated box truck.* Knowledge of laws and regulations for the operation of commercial truck.**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
