Job Description:L3Harris corporation is seeking a dynamic System Administrator to perform critical system design and implementation in unique and challenging programs. The selected candidate will be part of an exclusive national security program and work on the design, development, deployment, and O&M for critical wireless, infrastructure and/or communication programs. Essential Functions:Experience in systems administration of AWS/EC2/S3 cloud environmentsExperience managing the AWS life cycle, along with security, provisioning, and orchestration of systems using industry standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.Experience maintaining access control, data integrity, and data flow of AWS applicationsExperience with Windows 10/Windows Server/RHEL 8Experience customizing, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise level applicationsExperience configuring and maintaining Linux virtual systemsExperience in Linux automation using Kickstart, Podman and AnsibleExperience in Using Containers and DockerExperience deploying infrastructure through automationExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processesExperience using Active Directory/LDAPSelf-motivation, able to work well independently and within inter-disciplinary engineering teamsStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong Documentation skillsRecommending and implementing engineering design changes required to adapt technical requirementsSupport critical operations during standard and non-standard working hoursWork must be accomplished onsiteQualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience or,Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experienceIn lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certificationActive TS/SCI with CI polyPreferred Additional Skills:

Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customersExperience in non-traditional & highly technical, classified environmentsExperience providing clear and concise briefing ability of technical projects to non-technical audiences and customersExperience with MBSEDemonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented, matrix environmentDemonstrated self-starter - efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent taskDemonstrated scripting experience (Bash/Shell, Python, Perl) to provide System Administration efficienciesDemonstrated knowledge of database administration/troubleshooting (i.e. Oracle, MySql, Postgres)Demonstrated experience performing root cause analysis of a Linux applications and servicesExperience in using and creating LDAP for Windows and Linux IDM Familiarity with implementing and maintaining Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) in compliance with RMF security frameworks on Linux and Windows componentsExperience implementing patching, scanning, remediating findings, auditing (IAVA Compliance), and integrating RMF principles into ground-up buildsExperience with Nessus installation/configuration and runningWorking knowledge of Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, BitbucketWorking knowledge of certificate-based security (TLS, SSL, OCSP)Working knowledge of networking elements, including TCP/IP protocols & ports, DNS, NAT, subnet masks, etc.
