Currently, we are seeking aSoftware Tool Engineer IIto join our Team!
** Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph before consideration **
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.
Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6
Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6
Stay up to date with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices
Qualifications:
Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer.
Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator, or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Required Qualifications:
DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1
Ability to obtain PRIVAC and SYS3
Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
Know login management.
Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shooting
Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
Experience with load balancing technologies
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with scripting and automation tools a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of Infoblox
Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
