Description
Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will design and develop a modernized version of a legacy application performing data translation and forwarding for a key mission capability. The redesigned application will be part of the program's modernized system architecture and be deployed to multiple operational locations. Tier 3 operational support will be required for legacy through transition and new application operations.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE is required.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is requiredRequired Skills:Experience developing/refactoring applications in C++ and PythonExperience with socket-based streaming applications and data formatsExperience containerizing applications with DockerExperience with Kubernetes configuration and Helm chart developmentExperience with Linux-based operating systems and command-line interfacesGeneral understanding of RF satellite communications and signal processingThis position is open for direct hires only.
