Job Responsibilities:
Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.Basic knowledge of logical data modeling and physical data modeling.Basic knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc.Position's Contributions to Work Group:
The main function of a data engineer is to ensure that the data assets of an organization are supported by an architecture that supports the organization in achieving its strategic goal.A typical data engineer is responsible for setting enterprise standards for databases, data integration, and the means to get to the data.This position working with a team responsible for managing CVA units reporting process to enterprise and providing insights to business for increasing salesTypical Day:
Test Airflow, correct errors and make necessary modifications during our migration from SAS.Maintaining and enhancing database in SAS.Provide support to business partners that have questions about data in CVA's in relation to numbers coming out of SAS.Working with colleagues in Chicago, Michigan, and Geneva, Switzerland.Will be interacting with business stakeholders to explain logic and impact of changes.Education:
Bachelor's degree required- in relevant field.2+ years work experience required.Technical Skills Required:

Project management exp specifically Agile methodologyApache Airflow expSoft Skills Required:
