Position Purpose:

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA/CA) Supervisor will lead and manage the team of CNAs within the DTLA Hotel Program, an interim housing initiative. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The CNA Supervisor will work closely with the interdisciplinary Care Team to support Individuals Experiencing Homelessness (IEH) and those who have previously faced homelessness, focusing on enhancing their well-being, recovery, and stabilization.

Position Responsibilities:Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Client Aides (CAs) team.Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to CNAs.Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.Oversee the delivery of high-quality care to patients within the program.Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and the implementation of care plans.Ensure that CNAs and CAs provide compassionate and effective care to all patients.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Monitor and manage CNA and CA schedules to ensure adequate staffing.Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management and supply orders.Work closely with the interdisciplinary Care Team to coordinate patient care.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and problem-solving.Identify areas for improvement in patient care and implement changes as needed.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.Provide support and resources to patients to enhance their overall well-being.Assist in connecting patients with additional services, such as behavioral health or social services.Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system.Requirements:

Must be a certified CNA with a valid CA state license.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.High school diploma or GED required; additional education in healthcare or a related field is a plus.Strong leadership and management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Proficiency in patient care and healthcare protocols.Strong organizational and administrative skills.Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Power PointSensitivity and understanding of cultural, social, and economic diversity.Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability strongly preferred
