Position Summary and Job Responsibilities
Position Summary
As a member of the BGI team, you will participate in dyamic Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) programs for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft at Nellis AFB, NV. BGI is searching for full-time Ops/Data Analysts to provide expertise in aircraft flight data analysis techniques and software tool development. BGI Ops/Data Analysts will work hand-in-hand with Mission System Engineers, Database Administrators and Test Directors to develop the most effective and efficient test events for this leading edge platform. Full-time candidates must reside in the Las Vegas, NV area (relocation negotiable).
Job Responsibilities
As Ops/Data Analyst for F-35 JSF OT&E, you will be involved with developing and managing Test Plans, Test Trials and Test Reports. You will coordinate with the United Operational Test Team (UOTT) and participate in data analysis while assisting Mission System Engineers to develop appropriate analysis methodology and products to fuel test planning and reporting efforts.
You will work closely with Test Directors and Database Administrators to organize data and streamline processes on existing data infrastructures. You will work to optimize tool development and ensure proper data movement between test sites.
Required and/or Preferred Qualifications
Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills)
Prior experience in military test data collection,analysis and reporting
Prior Operational/Developmental Test experience (preferred)
Strong written and aural communication skills. Attention to detail.
Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms.
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
