Location: New York, New Jersey, Chicago
Type: Full-time/Contractor (18 Months)

Summary
eClerx is looking for data wrangling and analytics professionals with hands-on experience with different data processes. Knowledge of data warehouse strategies, ETL processes and in using the following tools: Tableau, SQL and Python/R is also required.
The candidate should have previous experience at a banking or capital markets firm.
Duties & Responsibilities:Provide data wrangling services to make data (structured and unstructured), by transformations, normalization, and data mapping, consumable for a variety of downstream purposes such as applications, visualizations, and analyticsDesign and model analytical methods based on the statistical methods. Validate, test, and deploy data models and analytical products/toolsResearch, troubleshoot and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems. Prepare and communicate through effective presentations and written communicationsWork with large data sets and identify patterns, anomalies, and propose steps for remedial actionsQuery and join multiple tables in SQL databases to provide data needed to support analytics and/or process improvementPrepare technical specifications and documentation for technology solutions in order to support downstream usesEnsure quality solution delivery by performing end to end data validation on technology solutionsSkills & Abilities: (Technical and General)
Minimum Requirements:
8 to 10 total years of data experience8+ years writing complex SQL queries and performing query optimization.3+ years of related, hands-on experience with Python, R or similar analytical programming language3+ years' experience in a trade-related, technology position at a financial institutionDemonstrably proficient in ETL tools such as Informatica and AlteryxKnowledgeable with Jira and agile methodologiesExperience developing data models and analytical products for financial services firmsStrong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilitiesInnovation minded, highly capable to think systematically, capable to redefine the solutions to overcome the competitors and solving problemCurious and willing to challenge existing solutions with innovative technology concepts
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $100,000-$120,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
