Tropic Supply is the place for you! We are the largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration wholesale distributor in Florida, and here, people matter. We want to add a sit-down forklift operator willing to work and do warehouse duties.
Job Duties are as follows but not limited to:Shipping, packaging, and receiving of all products and materialsAssisting counter sales with customer ordersMaintaining inventory according to company policy and proceduresFollowing all safety standards and requirements within the warehouse under OSHA and Hazmat guidelinesAccurately and efficiently pulling and filling orders on time with and without a sit-down forkliftEnsuring all parts, pieces, and serial numbers on the paperwork match the inventory being pulled or receivedReceiving and stocking incoming inventoryEfficiently and accurately loading and unloading trucks with and without a sit-down forkliftPerforming and assisting with cycle countsMaintaining the warehouse clean and orderlyMust know how to Operate Sit-Down forklift, hand truck, and pallet jackAssist customers in loading merchandise into their vehicles as neededProviding the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customersCore ValuesAll Tropic Supply team members are expected and required to demonstrate behavior and actions consistent with the Company's core values at all times, including but not limited to the following:

Requirements:
Must possess a good work ethic and work well with other team membersMust be able to lift, push, pull, and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds on a routine basisA minimum of two years of prior experience safely operating warehouse tools and equipment, including but not limited to basaloid, forklift, pallet jack, and hand truckMust be able to attend to details and handle multiple tasks simultaneously accuratelyMust possess good communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions
Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
