Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Red, Hunt, and Blue teams in Defensive Cybersecurity Operations. In this role, you will work closely with a team of professional systems administrators, developers, and mission operators and be given an opportunity to learn from others and share your knowledge with a receptive team. Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED and nine (9) years of relevant experience. Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development; programming, information/cyber/network security; vulnerability analysis; penetration testing; computer forensics; information assurance and/or systems engineering.
Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
Experience applying information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs) and other updates.
Experience supporting laptop builds for mission operations.
Experience providing administrative support for Splunk Cluster.
Virtual Machine (VM) build and support experience.
CentOS administration experience.
Some Windows Administration experience or familiarity with Windows.
Ability to work closely with developers and operators to define requirements and design solutions.
Desired Experience:
Familiarity with Nutanix.
Familiarity with Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow, GitLab, Jira.
Experience supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, and network infrastructure.
Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage or remote storage.
Experience implementing security best practices.
Familiarity with maintaining inventory of infrastructure hardware.
