HQCA recently acquired Geli, a leading developer of Energy Management System software for energy storage, solar, and other renewable resources.**Position Overview**The Federal Market Sales Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Sales and will lead the Q CELLs sales strategy in federal markets, engaging with stakeholders in government agencies and forming strategic partnerships with those that handle federal procurement at ESCOs and utilities. The Manager will identify opportunities to report solar market trends throughout North America as well as related policy and regulation changes at the federal level. In addition, the Manager will develop the organizational strategy for solar modules and systems, behind-the-meter developments, and utility-scale projects, working closely with federal leaders to ensure effective entry in the federal market.**Responsibilities**+ Gather and evaluate relevant federal market data to understand current sales trends;+ Provide accurate and timely leadership in bringing in purchase orders from the federal markets+ Acts as the advisor to sales teams and leaders related to federal sales;+ Ensure sales decision-making is supported by timely and accurate data analysis;+ Offer external view and market insights to assist strategic sales planning;**Required Qualifications**+ Bachelors Degree with 4 years of experience in sales or business development in Federal markets+ Demonstrated experience in sales strategy and analysis working on federally involved projects and initiatives+ Demonstrated understanding of design processes when bringing business to the federal market+ Strong, proven analytical abilities, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects+ Strong proficiency using software programs such as MS Office Suite+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to discuss high-level initiatives at all levels in an organizational or government organization+ Experience in the solar PV industry is highly preferred**Physical, Mental, & Physical Demands**To comply with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 the essential physical, mental and environmental requirements for this job are listed below.
