Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to oversee our HR initiatives and operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and proactive individual with a strong background in human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance, FMLA administration, and payroll processing. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our employees and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.

Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.

Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in our HRIS system.

Oversee FMLA administration, including eligibility determination, documentation, and compliance with FMLA regulations.

Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Support HR projects and initiatives as needed to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on generalist functions.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in Ohio.

Experience with FMLA administration and understanding of related regulations.

Proficiency in payroll processing and payroll software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
