Position Highlights:* Position: Mental Health Associate I* Location: Naperville* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time/ NOC (Overnight) Shift* Hours: 40 Hours/WeekThe Mental Health Associate provides direct patient care to patients with behavioral health disorders.Participates in treatment planning and implementation. Facilitates groups within assigned treatment programs. Documents according to department/organization procedures. Ensures the safety and well-being of these patients by maintaining a safe milieu.What you will need:* A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, no previous experience orA Bachelor's Degree or higher in a non-Behavioral Health related field, a minimum of one year of behavioral health experience* Maintain information as highly confidential* Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervisionExperience Preferred:* Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology* Skills in teaching or assisting with activities of daily living.* Prior experience with therapeutic limit-setting and milieu managementEducation and/or Experience Required:* A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
