Mental Health Assessment SpecialistUnit: Intake, Behavioral HealthLocation: 901 Kirchhoff Rd. ,Arlington Heights ( on hospital Campus)Hours: 11pm-730am / Every other weekend requiredOn Call: yes- once every 4 weeksShift: Night shiftPart time/Full Time: Part Time / 40 hours every 2 weeks.What you will need:LSW, LPC, or Registered Nurse required.LCSW, LCPC or Psy.D preferredMinimum of two years recent experience in a crisis/emergency services behavioral health setting required .Current CPR certification from American Association.Knowledge of DSM5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), ICD-10, and behavioral health medical necessity guidelines.Thorough knowledge of the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code.General Summary:Reporting to the Behavior Health Manager of Intake Services, performs mental health assessments for hospital patients and customers. Performs comprehensive clinical assessments and completes pre-certifications for insurance companies and required admission documentation.
