Willis Johnson & Associates, Houston, Texas, United States, 77246

The Willis Johnson & Associates (WJA) tax team is seeking to add a Tax Manager to its dynamic team of CPAs who provide year-round tax planning and compliance for our clientele. This is a unique opportunity that certainly has aspects of public accounting, but offers a broader experience in terms of a life-time approach to tax planning. The WJA tax team regularly consults with our clients and collaborates with our expert wealth management team to perform year-round tax planning to optimize life-long tax mitigation. As part of our client service, WJA manages tax-planning and the preparation and review of individual, trust, estate, and business tax returns for our clients. We also have clients with international activity which qualifies for the FATCA filing requirements of various forms (e.g., Forms 8938, 5471, 8865, 3520). Because each client is unique and has different needs, every day is different at WJA and the learning is continuous. We do not track our time, as the tax function is only one part of the greater financial planning service WJA provides for our clients. WJA has a very positive company culture with a focus on work-life balance while providing outstanding client service. A Tax Manager at Willis Johnson & Associates will be fully responsible for a portfolio of assigned clients by managing the client relationship to include year-round tax planning, estimating taxes, and tax compliance.
