LAYC's Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Program provides testing for HIV, STI, and pregnancy, risk reduction counseling, pregnancy options counseling, and support to ensure linkages to health care and social services through our Counseling, Testing, Referrals and Linkages (CTRL) program; providing curriculums that aim to create an "army" of youth who are trained as peer educators to promote healthy sexuality and reproductive health. The Health Coordinator supports the SRH program manager in program coordination across all Sexual and Reproductive Health Promotions programs. This includes working with the program manager to continue to develop the program, program implementation, reporting, budget maintenance, inventory, protocol review, tracking, coordinating our partners, and coordinating all facilitators. Coordinator is also responsible for identifying target populations in need and for developing and maintaining relationships with community resources to create new opportunities for the department and youth.

Assist the SRH Program Manager in recruitment, supervision and direction of Testing and Outreach personnel such as interns, fellows, volunteers, contractors, temporary employees and the full-time Reproductive Health Youth Developer Testing and Outreach Specialist.Ensure staff are properly training and able to assist with sexual and reproductive health programming and curriculums as needed.Maintain budgets for grants and orders material for our CTRL program.Monitor data input for CTRL into our Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) platform.Complete monthly reports for all grants related to sexual and reproductive health programming.Assist the SRH Program Manager with final reports and grant reapplications.Plan and execute on-site events that increase testing utilization and community outreach and strengthen internal and external partnerships.Ensure all testers become certified and maintain their certification through LAYC.Assist the SRH Program Manager with development of team protocols and procedures.Establish and maintain strong relationships with other LAYC programs, grant managers, organizational partners, and all other contacts, to contribute to our team's success.Maintain records of all electronic items, e.g. phones, tablets, computers.Link Spanish-speaking clients to PrEP and other social and behavioral services.Conduct follow-ups for all Spanish-speaking clients on referrals and linkages and monitor the follow-up and linkage of all clients.Maintain communication with Spanish-speaking clients via zoom number.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree related to health, education, or social and behavioral services.Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.Occasional weekend or evening work required.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Driver's license required to drive mobile testing van.Bilingual or fluent/proficient: English and Spanish required.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Knowledge of community and local resources.Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings for school events.Highly organized and detail oriented.Complete criminal and child abuse/neglect clearances.Flexible, energetic, positive individual with commitment to youth development in a high quality, respectful environment.Ability to work well and communicate with culturally diverse populations.LAYC/MMYC requires the COVID-19 vaccine of all its employees. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 10 lbs. May require the ability to travel locally and/or regionally.
