Job Description
Oracle Tester position responsible for testing and related duties on a small, dedicated team operating within a DHS Oracle-based applications. This Test member should possess solid working knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within testing. The position will also document and track software defects identified through testing and work with developers and support engineers to resolve outstanding issues.
QualificationsShould have minimum 5 - 8 years of experience as EBS Finance Tester ( Oracle EBS Federal)8 years or above experience as EBS Finance Tester (Oracle EBS Federal)Testing experience of P2P cycle (PO, AP, GL modules and SLA validation in EBS) and familiar with other modules AR, and FVExperience with PRISM/Comprizon/ CLM contracts/procurement applications is preferredExperience in Oracle EBS 12.2.X and higher versions preferredCreate, execute, and document test plans, test data, test cases to ensure functional coverage in SIT and UAT and ability to work in a fast paced environmentWork with technical, functional teams and external Vendor to deliver best testing solutionsConduct system testing in accordance with developed test procedures to validate that software modifications accomplish the intended result and verify that software modifications satisfy the identified requirementWrite and modify SQL queries to perform database validationsIdentify, document, and track all software defects to closureExperience of Section 508 best practices is a plusUnderstanding of federal accounting processes is a plusExcellent oral, written and presentation communication skillsAble to work flexibly as per project/task requirementExcellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and work with tight deadlinesExcellent team player
Additional Information
Must be a US Citizen. Must physically reside in the US during the contract, and for at least 3 of 5 years immediately beforehand. This will enable the resource to acquire and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
