Every agent is affiliated with one of our 117 General Offices. These offices are operated by Agency management teams responsible for agent and management recruiting, development, and sales. Approximately half our agents operate their businesses out of our General Offices, while the other half maintains independent office locations. Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, select cultural markets, and the women's markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.Role OverviewBusiness lead for Agency core recruiting process and experienceIdentify enhancements to current sourcing, attracting, selecting, contracting, and onboarding process and experiencePartner with business leads and other stakeholders in charge of New York Life recruiting systems and toolsLead the development of a modern, interactive, and consistent experience for users across platformsThought leadership & advisoryFrame and analyze complex problemsAssess areas of opportunity, in line with overall vision and strategyDevelop pragmatic solutions to key strategic and operational issuesPresent recommendations to senior leadershipStrategic planning & executive communicationSupport strategic planning and related activitiesFacilitate structured reviews of the enterprise portfolio of strategic initiatives & implications (e.g., budget considerations, resource allocation)Drive agenda and materials development for senior executive audiences & meetings (e.g., Steering Committee meetings)Project leadershipLead end-to-end delivery of solutionsSupport implementation of key enterprise initiatives by forming collaborative partnerships with colleagues across businesses and functional areasDrive management of enterprise governance and communication processesProvide program management (e.g., project plans, status reporting, risks/issues escalation, mitigation plans)Resource managementManage and develop of more junior resourcesPlan and manage project budget, including third-party vendorsManage cross-functional stakeholdersQualificationsBS or BA required / MBA or JD requiredMinimum of 10+ years of relevant experience7-8+ years overall experience, 5+ years in top-tier management consulting firmExperience in financial services preferred, insurance expertise a plusOutstanding analytic and quantitative capabilitiesStrong communication skills including experience in developing C level presentations and communicationsCollaborative work style and leadership presence with ability to effectively interact and earn trust of peers and senior management across the organizationProject and process management skills including proven ability to juggle multiple projects at the same timeTeam management and development skillsLarge and small group facilitation skills and experienceSelf-starter with a passion to deliver resultsSF:LI-KV1Salary range:$115,000-$175,000Overtime eligible:ExemptDiscretionary bonus eligible:YesSales bonus eligible:NoClick here to learn more about our benefits.
