Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Work with the business to effectively understand the data needs of the business and the most effective tool for creating desired outputs and analysis. Support the organization in using the data it collects to review historical results, understand trends, solve business problems, and monitor metrics. Assist with determining company data needs, structuring for analysis, and creating appropriate outputs (i.e. - key performance indicators, reports, and visualizations) for the organization's decision makers.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalency in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or similar discipline with experience in a role using SQL Server and/or Business Intelligence tools with a minimum of five (5) years of experience. Strong preference for candidates experienced with Power BI including building Power BI dashboards, Report Builder paginated reports, RLS, apps, and scheduling.

Understand and interpret operational data and business user requirements to support and enhance company wide data usage from various sources.Create written reports management can use to monitor the company's metrics and make decisions.Understand the data relationships and utilize the organization's tools to create outputs and assess information.Use computer programming languages to create data visualizations in the form of charts and web dashboard applications.Assist, work with, and communicate with internal departments and staff to understand data needs and objectives.Analyze and summarize operational data as needed.
