Job Description

The Project Development Manager (Renewables) will be responsible for:

Evaluate and oversee the execution of renewable energy development projects in alignment with the company's growth strategy.Lead cross-functional project teams through all stages of development, including conceptualization, with a focus on activities such as community engagement, land acquisition, regulatory compliance, permit acquisition, transmission rights negotiation, as well as engineering and construction planning.Proactively identify and mitigate enterprise risks associated with ongoing projects.Take the lead in preparing project proposals for potential power purchasersProvide support in negotiating various commercial contracts, including Power Purchase Agreements and Turbine Supply Agreements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in renewable energy industryUnderstanding of the project development processDirect experience in utility scale projectsExperience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictionsProficient with Microsoft Office software, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordBachelor's degree is requiredPlease still apply if you have smaller scale projects but could still see yourself contributing
