ASSYST is seeking a

ServiceNow Service Mapping Technical Lead

to Support our client project in

Washington DC. This is a Hybrid role

Responsibilities:

Perform ServiceNow solution design activities. This includes:Lead the requirements gathering for all Platform-to-Application dependency deliverables, including system architecture, data and system flow diagrams, and technical questionnaire.Analyze gathered requirements thoroughly to confirm all necessary data points are comprehensive for initiating the technical approach.Develop and document a scalable technical approach regardless of underlying technologies (e.g. Java processes, JVM, etc.), that can be leveraged to all platforms that shares similar communication protocol.Create a comprehensive test use cases.Be a part of the technical testing team to ensure functionality developed as per the requirement and adhere to quality standards and best practices (building code that are dynamic and no hardcoding).Manage project activities including creating project plan, monitoring timeline, tracking issue resolution, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.Perform Platform-to-Application mapping activities. This includes:

Complete the mapping of at least 5 assigned platforms (On premise and Cloud).Gather and analyze platform/application details required to develop end-to-end solutions.Develop and document a scalable technical approach regardless of underlying technologies (e.g. Java processes, JVM, etc.), that can be leveraged to all platforms that shares similar communication protocol.Develop custom solutions using ServiceNow ITOM capabilities such as patterns, server and client-side scripting, business rules, etc.Troubleshoot and resolve issues or errors, including issues related to Discovery, MID Server, integrations, and other ITOM areas specific to Platform-to-Application mapping,Perform thorough UAT testing.Obtain signoffs for completed platform mappings.Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of extensive experience with ServiceNow leading ITOM module, especially in the Service Mapping module.Hands-on experience with Service Mapping or Platform-to-Application dependency mapping.Experience with Application-to-Application dependency mapping is a big plus.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM module, and Operation Workspace.Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application in IT service management.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize competing demands effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.High level of initiative with a proven ability to work independently.
