SUMMARYThe primary purpose of this position is to coordinate recruitment of corporate associates as applicable. Frequentindependent judgments are essential. Throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes, monitor andimplement applicable federal and state human resource requirements to ensure legal compliance. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid'sbrand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:* Actively recruit candidates for assigned area using the Internet, media, electronic bulletin boards, job fairs,recruiting materials/mailers, staffing agencies and other means to solicit strong candidates internally andexternally to fill all open corporate positions; create and maintain current postings, ads, and agency contracts.* For current and temporary positions: screen resumes; conduct preliminary telephone or face-to-face screeninginterviews as appropriate; prepare qualified candidate lists for hiring managers and act as liaison betweenhiring managers, interviewees, or staffing agencies to provide the best candidates and effectively communicatewith and support the hiring managers to fill our positions; set up and create interview schedules; make travelarrangements as required.* Screen and respond to applications and inquires from applicants and associates in a timely manner; maintainapplicant files and databases (ICIMS and our internal databases) and routinely generate recruiting reports andstatistics for the appropriate personnel; record the receipt of resumes and ensure all responses are sent duringor after the position has been filled as required to provide effective communication with the applicant.* Administer pre-employment screening, score tests, and/or review results of potential candidates; assist withoffer negotiations as directed; compose and distribute offer letters or timely rejection notifications to allapplicants; complete transfer e-form for internal candidates.* Answer telephones, screen calls, respond promptly to questions and inquiries or transfer calls to appropriateindividual for action; process personnel and payroll transactions such as new hires, merit increases, addressupdates, transfers, etc; provide lobby backup coverage.* Create and maintain career fair and career center materials and communicate with contacts atcolleges/universities on a regular basis to inform them of job opportunities, develop a relationship, andcoordinate career fairs and company presentations; maintain a database of those contacts and their contactinformation.* Administer new hire paperwork, participate in new hire classes as needed, communicate orientationinformation to new associates, and ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and handed over to theInfinium data entry associate on the day of hire.* Process and record recruiting expenses for corporate positions, applicant expenses, and expenses associatedwith requests, authorizations, and invoices for temporary associates; provide annual recruiting statistic reportsto management.* Ensure all permanent and temporary staffing requests have supporting documentation (budget approval,proper signatures, and job descriptions).SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Human Resources or related field required. The typical starting pay range for this position is between $59,500 $74,400, although wages can vary based on experience and geography. #LI-Remote1 year of experience in Recruiting experience in either a corporate or a retail environment required.
