Job Description

Title: Project Coordinator - EngineeringLocation: 100% Onsite 5 days/week in NY, NY

Ekman Associates is a management consulting firm that specializes in developing business, digital, and technology strategy, delivering solutions, and addressing human resource demands.

Summary:The Engineering Project Coordinator will be dedicated to the infrastructure and production engineering activities, keeping track of infrastructure production engineering bill of materials, logistics, budget, system upgrade, system decommissioning, etc.

The project coordinator, under the direction of the Project Manager, will create project documentation, manage project deliverables, and provide weekly status reporting. The project coordinator must be familiar with project planning and execution in both waterfall and agile methodologies. This position requires strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills . Must have a technical foundation and ability to quickly develop deep understanding of the strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate multiple concurrent operating systems dispositions (upgrades, refreshes, or decommissions).Coordinate teams of highly technical engineers.Keep track of project status, bill of materials, logistics, budget, etc.Negotiate timelines and expectations with application owners and project team members.dhere to and keep updated migrations plans.Communicate project expectations, risks, and escalations to project manager.Coordinate and manage change control activities in adherence to PMO standards.Effectively contribute to the successful project completion on-time and within budget.Effectively manage project scope, schedule, and budgets, while proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.Work directly with project manager, project owner, and stakeholders to develop level-of-effort assessments.pply varying methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), types, and sizes, ensuring objectives and project deliverables are accomplished according to plan.Effectively manage project activities in Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet, MS ProjectQualifications:

B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.Previous work experience within the media entertainment industry is a plus.Culture carrier with strong leadership skills to drive, deliver, develop and inspire.Results-oriented with initiative to work until job is complete.ttention to detail, documentation, tools, officeProject coordinator/data analystExperience with project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet.Strong organizational skills. communication skills, and attention to detail.Foundational understanding of infrastructure engineering technologies (compute, storage, network, database, platforms, operating systems, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure as code, front/back-end development).daptable performer who can perform effectively under pressure and through significant change.bility to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members.bility and desire to continually learn about new technologies, project management methodologies, and adapt to ever-changing business and industry needs.Qualified Candidates Only:
