Position Overview for the Power BI Developer:
Our client is looking for a Power BI Developer to join their team on a long-term opportunity. This person will report to the Manager of Analytics & Reporting. This development effort will add new functionality and replace certain outmoded functionality to the BI Core Analytics, and will support the following deliverables:
Build a new tool-agnostic reporting sub-structure which would support the replacement of the Ad-hoc, OLAP, and Monthly Data Reporting tools utilizing Power BIBuild new and enhanced functionality to streamline the workflows for Analytics & Reporting and client deliveryEstablish reusable source code across multiple applications and reporting tools/databases within the organizationRequired Skills for the Power BI Developer:
3+ years of Power BI report development experienceComfortable with Excel and T-SQLExperience in requirements gatheringExperience in data modeling in Power BIAdvanced Power BI visual presentation (dashboards, metrics, reports, etc.)Thorough understanding of power query for ETL and DAX for report building in Power BIHealthcare experience a plus, but not requiredWhat's in it for you?
