To learn more, check out our website.Job SummaryEffectv's VP Affiliate Partnerships owns the entirety of the business relationship between Effectv and all traditional linear inventory sources. Dependent on the size and scope of each Affiliate, external view of VP will range from valued business partner (major MVPD) to equivalent of President of Advertising (Tier 2 & 3 operators), with responsibility for strategy and revenue deliverables to each partner. Has oversight of 45 affiliate partnerships, totaling over 11M homes and $500M in annual revenue.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities:

Develops and oversees implementation of all 3rd-party linear and digital supply strategies and agreements with MVPD, Satellite, and Telco partners.Serve as direct point of contact for approximately top 10 Affiliate partners - primary responsibilities include oversight of:Agreement and partnership strategyAgreement constructionAgreement negotiation - all business terms and ROIOperations management - insertion tech, IP deployments, etc.Financial responsibilities - budgets, forecasts, performanceOther - FCC public file compliance, cross-channel marketing management, data collectionAs customer to other sales organizations in TKO relationships, owns all measures to ensure success for representative in those markets.Continually search out expansion opportunities - acquisitions, expanded representation.Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with all Affiliate senior leaders (SVP and above), plus across departments with larger affiliates (Finance, Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, etc.)Take collaborative lead in presenting One Effectv approach to affiliate partners among Effectv, Freewheel, CTS, and Xumo where appropriate - bring forward integrated solutions where possible.Serve as point person plus driving internal strategic leader for Interconnect 3.0 initiative; collaborate with peer group at Charter to maintain industry consistency, and evangelize concept to affiliate partners.Serve as primary contact and Effectv strategic lead with IP video (Xperi, Minerva, Enghouse, Innovative) and Advanced Ad Tech vendors (Cadent, SeaChange), strive to maintain legacy live linear ad insertion with affiliates supported by these companies plus create path toward digital and addressable integrations.Serve as primary industry leader for Tier 2 & Tier 3 industry associations (NCTC, ACC, Mid-America CTA), participate in conferences and panels.Effectv primary representative on Ampersand Subscriber Governance Committee.Maintain strong partnership with Effectv sales leadership in order to collaboratively partner to ensure each market has sellable supply needed to meet business goals.Team:Affiliate Field ManagerAffiliate Operations ManagerAffiliate Finance Manager (dotted line)Affiliate SpecialistProfessional Experience & Qualifications:

Strong relationship builder, ability to maintain important business partnerships inside affiliate roster from C-level through department heads.Strategic thinker, with understanding of how to connect legacy spot business to impression-based evolution.Competent with implementation, with a primary focus on knowing how to connect internal and external experts to solve problems.Excellent communicator, able to carry affiliate webinars, speak at industry events, and effectively present to Affiliate senior leadership.Advanced organizational skills.Education:Bachelor's DegreeWhile possessing the stated degree is preferred, Effectv also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.Relevant Work Experience:15 YearsBase pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Effectv provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
