SIGN UP NOW and Charter Communications will form a 50/50 joint venture that will bring our world-class Flex streaming platform, 4K streaming devices, voice remote and XClass TVs nationwide. You will want to join our innovative team, because together we will develop and offer consumers a next-generation streaming platform, with a world-class user experience and navigation and all the top apps, bringing more choice to the streaming marketplace.

We are seeking a talented Chief Technology Officer responsible for delivering our product roadmap for our XClass TV and Flex devices, as well as building and maintaining our back end systems and infrastructure, in partnership with our Technology & Product organization within

Job Description

Directs the overall priorities and goals for the Technology department within the JV, and coordinates across the TPX organization to align on milestones and expectations.Develops goals, budget and strategic business plans.In strong partnership with the Product team under the Chief Revenue & Platform Officer, as well as the Retail team under the SVP, Retail & GTM, identify and evaluate new product ideas or strategic product extensions and ensures goals in revenue growth and market share are achieved. Serves as a subject-matter expert for products and retail needs as it relates to our products.Works with OEM and syndication partners to understand their technical requirements and ensures product and software stack align with their needs. Responsibilities include:Budget alignmentHardware specificationDevice strategyRecruit, train, develop and manage a team of talented professionals.Responsible for developing a staffing model and criteria for evaluating the performance of the technical delivery teams.Strong brand ambassador for the line of products both internally and externally.Requires minimum of 15 years related product & technology experience in both the Retail and Consumer Electronics Industry.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
