Job DescriptionJob SummaryFunctions as the primary interface for the Global IT Division. In addition provides work direction, feedback, and recruiting assignments to IT Recruiters or other recruiting or sourcing members of the Talent Acquisition team.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides work direction, feedback, and recruiting assignment to IT Recruiters or other recruiting or sourcing members of the Talent Acquisition team that support an assigned area to ensure Department policies and procedures are being followed consistently.Develop and drive proactive recruitment strategies for current and future business needs focused on technical teams, with the ability to be flexible, depending on business needs.Manages and oversees full life cycle recruiting for all open IT positions at all levels. Cultivate relationships with hiring managers, site leadership, employees, and external resources.Develops candidate pipeline by discovering untapped sources of talent through creative sourcing techniques (i.e. social media, professional referrals, creative advertising, etc.). Create and monitor job postings.Assigns recruiting activity based upon the assigned recruiting team's workload and priorities. Acts as an initial point of contact for assigned recruiters on issues or questions and partners with the necessary teams to resolve.Provides a summary of the issues at hand, any actions taken, and recommendations to the TA DirectorEnsures timely communication and feedback is provided to the hiring managers, and candidates to promote Walgreens' employment brand through positive experiences and engagement.Develops, monitors, and provides updates to team of recruiters and recruiting leadership on team metrics and performance to ensure continuous development on meeting SLAs.Develops and provides business cases for more complex jobs that are going to be referred to outside search agencies and provides a recommendation to the Director, TADevelops and mentors staff through onboarding, open communication, training and development opportunities, and performance management processes. Builds and maintains employee morale and motivation. Ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies. Fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace. Advises on policies and procedures, relocation, and benefits. This is the 28th consecutive year that WBA or its predecessor company, Walgreen Co, has been named to the list.More company information is available at www.walgreensbootsalliance.com External Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in Technical Recruitment or High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in a Technical Recruitment department or search firm actively sourcing and recruiting talent for jobs over the entire recruiting lifecycle.Experience with behavioral based interviewing techniques and practices.Experience utilizing the capabilities of a recruiting management system, such as Brassring, iCims, Taleo, etc.Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.Experience managing complex projects in a highly matrix environmentExperience translating business needs (from talent reviews, business plans and growth strategies) into talent acquisition actions.At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree in a related field such as Human Resources or Business Administration.At least five years of experience in a technical recruitment department or search firm actively sourcing and recruiting talent for jobs over the entire recruiting lifecycle.Masters degree or MBASPHR certification as granted by SHRMPDN-97df37e1-cc3d-4b83-b5de-1cc502190829
