This includes the coordination and execution of strategic sourcing events. The Senior Analyst may also participate in cross-functional projects, help coordinate Global Procurement's data, and manage projects that are of higher complexity and require a greater degree of strategic insight. The Senior Analyst will also train team members and help identify and document best practices. This role requires solid business acumen in addition to strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides category strategy support to Direct and Indirect Procurement, including spend analysis, risk management/ mitigation, market research, category analysis, and sourcing event recommendations.Facilitates strategic sourcing events from start to finish (RFI, RFP, eAuction) using Ariba e-Sourcing tools and Excel-based analytics.Performs data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for supplier and category consolidation and cost-saving opportunities and can translate data into a meaningful output for stakeholder review and decision.Conducts ad hoc data analysis as requested, proactively searching for opportunities to deliver additional insights to members of the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams.Supports the development and reporting of departmental key performance indicators related to strategic sourcing.Represents Global Strategic Sourcing on cross-functional projects.Documents strategic sourcing processes and best practices.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree required.Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience required.Must have excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in developing dashboards in Power BI a plus.Working knowledge of the Strategic Sourcing process and Ariba tools.Strong written, verbal and analytical skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skills.Ability to understand, organize and communicate complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences.Ability to work collaboratively in team environment, support requests from and interact directly across all levels of the organization.Fast learner who quickly understands the context of purchasing categories and applies knowledge across categories.Must be able to draw conclusions from large and seemingly ambiguous data sets. Possess good time management and prioritization skills.Keen attention to detail.Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently and creatively solve problems.Anticipates and recommends solutions for selected issues that arise.Compensation and Benefits:The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$61,800.00 - $108,200.00An individual's base pay depends on a number of factors, such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant educationor training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation, such as a performance-based bonus and other short- and long-term incentives.
