While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary ranges are as follows: Tampa, FL: $111,400 - $162,400. Atlanta, GA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Charlotte, NC; and Dallas, TX: $117,000 - $170,500. Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; and Philadelphia, PA: $122,500 - $178,600. Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC (Headquarters); Ashburn, VA, and Boston, MA: $128,100 - $186,700. New York, NY: $139,300 - $203,000. San Francisco, CA: $144,800 - $211,100.Hybrid work option – Staff will be assigned to one of our offices or locations, including: Washington, DC (Headquarters); Ashburn, VA; Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; Dallas, TX; and Houston, TX. The role will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Management Partner and will be responsible for proactively leading and working on human capital planning that is aligned with the strategic objectives of the PCAOB.The role will build and sustain relationships with the PCAOB client groups to effectively influence analysis and decision-making in the areas of leadership, talent management & development, workforce planning, succession planning, change management, performance management, and employee engagement. This role will collaborate closely with HR Leadership as well as with the Employee Experience team and other OHR colleagues to develop and deliver solutions to support the organization.ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted advisor and strategic partner within the PCAOB in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, rewards and recognition, employee engagement, talent management, performance management, compensation, policy interpretation, and other organizational effectiveness matters to optimize HR’s contribution to business success and enhance the employee experience.In partnership with divisions and offices, assume a lead role to develop and execute upon human capital plans, including succession planning and workforce planning, that align with strategic and long-term plans.Positively influence business decisions and change, deliver constructive advice, and diagnose and resolve problems.Partner with OHR colleagues to effectively deliver HR programs including but not limited to onboarding, performance management, enterprise goal setting, salary planning and awards and offboarding.Establish effective relationships across the organization with employees and key stakeholders.Solicit and encourage staff on a real-time basis during meetings and through other established communication channels to share their opinions and ideas related to the office’s climate, projects, and initiatives. Reassure staff to share views in an environment that fosters trust and respect.Encourage participation in organization-wide employee engagement and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives and activities by promoting participation during office-wide meetings and through other communications.Recommend, implement, and reinforce Human Resources and employee-related policies and procedures.Provide proactive support to and engage PCAOB employees (during the full life cycle).Provide coaching and consultation to employees and managers, offering feedback and advice on issues in a proactive and compassionate manner.Work with division/office leadership and the HR team to implement strategies to ensure staff have targeted development opportunities that align with the individuals’ professional development goals.Compile reports and analyze human resources data and dashboards and make recommendations for improvements and solutions based on results.Provide recommendations for HR internal process improvements and support implementation of HR programs.Proactively seek knowledge of both industry and functional specialty; research best practices, legal developments, and emerging trends to benchmark HR practices that are best in class.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation/Technical ExpertiseBachelor's degree from an accredited university.Minimum of 7+ years of human resources experience.Strong background as an HR Generalist/Business Partner subject matter expert, with experience in all core HR areas.Must have experience advising and consulting with senior leadership to achieve organization objectives.Consistent, balanced, and respectful engagement style.Strong ability to influence, an affinity for people, and demonstrated experience leveraging those skills into business outcomes.Ability to develop and implement strategic Human Resources initiatives and drive change in the absence of clearly defined guidelines or policies.Experience supporting organizations in transition.Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability for discretion, integrity, judgment, and responsiveness.Must be creative and able to think strategically, logically, and establish/execute procedures to completion.Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Must be able to work effectively under pressure, manage time, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Ability to multi-task and organize and interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.Advanced working knowledge of software applications, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of state and Federal employment law and practices and EEOC guidelines.Proven strengths in negotiation, analysis, and problem solving.Must be able to take initiative and work independently.Preferred QualificationsMBA/Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.SHRM-CP, PHR or SPHR certification.Experience using Workday to leverage human capital data and drive data-driven decisions.Equal Employment OpportunityAll PCAOB employees are entitled to equal opportunity and a professional work environment, free of discrimination and harassment.
